Training camp finally is underway, and the big story so far is the absence of Kasperi Kapanen, the projected first-line right winger who remains in his native Finland because of immigration issues.

Penguins officials say they don't know when Kapanen -- who will have to serve a seven-day quarantine once he reaches the U.S. -- will be available, but acknowledge that it won't be in time for the regular-season opener Jan. 13 in Philadelphia.

So, how big of a setback do you think that is? Who would you like to see play with Sidney Crosby and Jake Guentzel until Kapanen arrives?

This is the place to discuss the Kapanen situation, and anything else to do with hockey. Post your questions and observations in the Comments section and I will respond over the course of the day.
