Pitt will host Florida State at the Petersen Events Center in a rescheduled game now set for Feb. 6 at 2 p.m., according to the ACC

The game was originally scheduled for Jan. 9 before being postponed due to an outbreak of COVID-19 within Florida State's program. Pitt still has three games left to be rescheduled, all road games against Duke, Georgia Tech and Boston College.

Florida State is currently 9-2 overall, 5-1 in the ACC. The Seminoles are also the highest-scoring offense in the conference, averaging 79.1 points per game, and the second-best 3-point shooting team at 39.1 percent.

After losing back-to-back games to Wake Forest and North Carolina, Jeff Capel's Panthers must rebound soon before falling further down the ACC standings. At 8-4 overall, 4-3 in the conference, Pitt's best chance to rebound from its losing streak could be its next home game Saturday against Notre Dame, which sits at 2-6 in the ACC, 5-9 overall.

But after that game, Pitt faces a gauntlet of top ACC opponents: Virginia Tech, Florida State, and Louisville, all programs ranking among the top-four in the conference behind Virginia.
