The ACC announced another postponed game for Pitt's schedule.

This time it's the Panthers' originally scheduled Saturday home game against Florida State. The Seminoles' program had a player test positive this week, causing the ACC to postpone their next three games against Boston College, Pitt and Virginia Tech.

This is Pitt's fifth game postponed this season, making for the fourth postponed matchup that still needs to be rescheduled by the ACC. This matchup with Florida State has now been postponed twice because of positive tests in the Seminoles' program, after originally being postponed from Jan. 9.

The only postponed game that Pitt has played after being rescheduled was its Saturday loss to Notre Dame.

Now with Pitt's Saturday being free, the only other ACC team with an open date is Wake Forest. Ironically, Wake Forest rescheduled with Pitt to play on Jan. 23 after Pitt's game against Boston College for that date was postponed.

Considering the potential for future COVID-19 postponements and positive tests, the ACC will try to fill as many open game opportunities as possible for the best chance to get as many games as possible. We'll keep an eye out for future updates.
