The Pirates announced its prospect-heavy list of non-roster spring training invitees Tuesday, which includes top 10 prospects Quinn Priester, Nick Gonzales, Liover Peguero, Cody Bolton and Ji-Hwan Bae.

Baseball America rates Gonzales as the Pirates’ No. 3 prospect, Priester at fourth, Peguero at fifth, Bolton at sixth and Bae at ninth. It will be the first Major League spring training for each of these players. All of them were in the Altoona, Pa. training site last season.
Other notable prospects who will be in camp for the first time include outfielder Canaan Smith-Njiba, who was acquired from the Yankees in the Jameson Taillon trade, former first-round draft pick Travis Swaggerty and power-hitting first baseman Mason Martin.
Every player currently on the roster will also be in spring training, bringing the total going to Bradenton, Fla. to 66 players. Players who are already on the 40-man and made MLB Pipeline's most recent top 30 prospects list include Ke'Bryan Hayes, Oneil Cruz, Jared Oliva, Miguel Yajure, Roansy Contreras, Wil Crowe, Luis Oviedo, Jose Soriano and Max Kranick.

Among the veterans headed to camp on minor-league deals are infielder Wilmer Difo, who played 373 games with the Nationals over the past six years, and catchers Joe Hudson and Andrew Susac, the latter of whom was in the Altoona camp all year and was added to the Pirates' roster for the final game of the season.

Pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report Feb. 15, and the first full-team workout will be Feb. 22.
