The Steelers on Monday officially hired three new coaches on Mike Tomlin's staff, adding Mike Sullivan as quarterbacks coach, Chris Morgan as assistant offensive line coach and Matt Tomsho as quality control coach.

Sullivan replaces Matt Canada, who was elevated to offensive coordinator, while Morgan does the same with Adrian Klemm, who moved up to offensive line coach. Tomsho's hiring as quality control coach is a new one.

Sullivan comes to the Steelers from Army, where he was director of recruiting.

Prior to that, the West Point graduate was an assistant for 16 years in the NFL, including stints as offensive coordinator for the Giants and Buccaneers.

He served as the Giants' quarterbacks coach and wide receivers coach before moving to offensive coordinator, winning two Super Bowls with that franchise.

Morgan, a Colorado graduate, spent six seasons (2015-20) with the Atlanta Falcons as the offensive line coach, including one season where he also held the role of run game coordinator/offensive line coach (2018). Before joining the Falcons, Morgan spent one season with the Seahawks (2014) as the assistant offensive line coach as part of the Super Bowl XLIX staff, and three with Washington (2011-13), also as the assistant offensive line coach.

He got his NFL start with the Raiders, where here spent two seasons (2009-10) as the assistant offensive line coach.

Tomsho comes to the Steelers from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he was wide receivers coach and strength and conditioning coordinator.

Prior to that, he was an offensive graduate assistant at the University of Maryland (2018), and offensive analyst for Louisiana State University (2017) and an offensive assistant at the University of Pittsburgh (2016), where he worked with Canada.
