A report from Ian Rappaport indicates that Mike Tomlin has tested positive for COVID-19.
Although the report hasn't yet been confirmed by the Steelers, the team did confirm that there were multiple positive tests last week and that has led to coaching and personnel staffs being sent home.
The Steelers only had four confirmed positive tests for COVID-19 during the season between an unnamed staff member, James Conner, Vance McDonald, and Joe Haden in the playoffs.
At this time the Steelers have only had positive tests for the novel coronavirus and not any of the new strains. This is the first notable reported positive test of COVID-19 in the NFL since the Super Bowl.
The Steelers' primary activities over the next month will focus primarily on front office decisions as Kevin Colbert and Omar Khan work on restructuring contracts to help the Steelers get back under the projected salary cap for 2021.
