Samuel Poulin, Nathan Legare and their Val-d'Or Foreurs have advanced to the semi-final round of the QMJHL playoffs, and they've yet to lose a game through two rounds.
The Foreurs swept the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in the best-of-five first round, then swept the Rimouski Oceanic in the best-of-five second round.
They completed the sweep of the Oceanic on Tuesday with a resounding 8-2 win, a game in which Poulin and Legare each recorded two goals and an assist.
Poulin has been playing first-line center for the Foreurs, and Legare has been playing wing on the second line.
The Oceanic opened the scoring in the first period, but the Foreurs tied the game a few minutes later, with Poulin picking up the secondary assist.
Legare made it a 2-1 game that same period with a breakaway goal:

Poulin now has seven goals through six playoff games, leading the league in postseason goal-scoring. Legare ranks second in the league in goals with six in as many games.
