Once a premier prospect in the Pirates' system, Lolo Sanchez has fallen under the radar as of late for Greensboro. Sanchez who is now hitting .247 on the season notched two RBIs and scored two runs without registering a hit.

Sanchez walked three times in the Grasshoppers 17-3 shellacking of Winston-Salem Friday night while also striking out once against the Dash.

He's notched three home runs, nine RBIs and six stolen bases so far for the Grasshoppers. That speed and a little development of power could have him in Double A by the middle of the summer.

ELSEWHERE

Trey McGough, a Johnstown native, pitched 3.2 innings for Altoona in his Double A debut Friday night. McGough allowed five hits and three earned runs while striking out six. A two-run home run crushed McGough and put the game out of reach for the Curve against Richmond.

Oneil Cruz pushed his hit-streak to nine games while also adding his seventh multi-hit game of the season against the Flying Squirrels.

• Jase Bowen went 2-for-5 with a run scored for Bradenton in their 12-2 loss to Dunedin Friday. Bowen bumped his average up to .255 for the Marauders and now has 5 home runs, 19 RBIs and five stolen bases on the season.

Steven Wright moved to 2-1 for Indianapolis with his 5.2 inning, three strikeout performance against Columbus Friday. Anthony Alford went 3-for-3 with a RBI and a run scored in the 10-3 victory in the first game of the double header.

In the second game, T.J. Rivera went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a run score as the Indians beat the Clippers 3-2.
