Good morning!
We're turning seven years old this month, and we'd love to celebrate it with you. Yes, in person.
TODAY, July 15, 5 p.m. is when we'll meet at Mike's Beer Bar on the North Shore for our first chance in far too long -- our entire staff and everyone who shows -- to chat about sports, the business, each other, whatever. It's a chance to actually get together, something we used to do several times a year, in Pittsburgh and across the continent.
If you've ever been to one of these and wonder what goes on, it's really just that. Don't bring anything. (Except a friend or family or anyone else you'd like!) Don't expect anything super-fancy. We get to know each other or, in the case of you long-time readers, we get to catch up. It's way more like a reunion than anything else.
• Brewing question: Which is your favorite sporting venue that isn't PNC Park? No need to limit this to baseball.
• Tap the button, marked LIVE, and it'll take you to our staff Twitter feed without leaving the app. Track our news. Track our pics. Track our videos. And do that almost as immediately as we're experiencing these things ourselves. I've wanted this feature forever, and I couldn't be happier myself that we're offering it.
