The Steelers announced Thursday they will hold 12 opening training camp practices at Heinz Field, starting July 28.
Admission to open practices is free, but attendees must have a mobile ticket to enter Heinz Field. A limited number of tickets will be available via Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. ET on Sat., July 10, and seats will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis.
To acquire the mobile tickets, fans can visit https://www.ticketmaster.com/pittsburgh-steelers-tickets/artist/806007?list\_view=1&home\_away=home&daterange=from20210718-to-20210818.
Other open practice dates include July 29, 30 and 31 and Aug. 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 17 and 18.
The Steelers open their preseason schedule Aug. 5 in Canton, Ohio, in the Hall of Fame game against the Cowboys.
The Steelers had planned on holding their training camp at Saint Vincent College as usual, but were forced to use Heinz Field and the UPMC-Rooney Sports Complex for the second consecutive season after the state and NFL failed to approve their plan to return to Latrobe, Pa.
The team will hold a conditioning period in the days leading up to the first open practices that are closed to the public.
