The Penguins have everyone on their major-league roster under contract.
Zach Aston-Reese, who was scheduled for a salary-arbitration hearing Aug. 23, has agreed to a one-year deal, with a cap hit of $1.725 million.
His contract is believed to leave the Penguins with about $120,000 in cap space, with 23 players currently on one-way deals.
Aston-Reese, who teamed with Teddy Blueger and Brandon Tanev on a highly effective fourth line, had a cap hit of $1 million on his previous agreement. He had nine goals and six assists in 45 games last season.
Aston-Reese will be 27 on Tuesday and will be eligible for unrestricted free agency next summer.
