RICHMOND, Va. -- It’s frustrating that the overwhelming emotion that surrounds the 1990-1992 Pirates is massive, crippling disappointment, because winning a division title three years in a row was a near impossible task at that time, especially in the days before three divisions and the Wild Card. Still, Jim Leyland’s Bucs did it. The early 90s were a great time for baseball in Pittsburgh, despite the heartbreak that followed each championship!
