GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Steelers will get wide receivers Diontae Johnson and JuJu Smith-Schuster back for their game Sunday against the Packers at Lambeau Field.
It's a good thing. They'll be without Chase Claypool in that game.
Claypool was downgraded on Saturday to out after suffering a hamstring injury in practice on Thursday. He did not practice on Friday.
Claypool is coming off a game in which he caught 9 passes for 98 yards in the team's 24-10 loss to the Bengals with Johnson out with an injured knee and Smith-Schuster exiting the game with a rib injury in the third quarter.
The team's leader in touchdown catches in 2020 as a rookie, Claypool has 15 receptions for 211 yards this season on 29 pass attempts.
The Steelers (1-2) also get outside linebackers T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith back for this game after both sat out last week's loss to the Bengals with groin injuries.
The Steelers have elevated wide receiver Cody White and and offensive tackle Chaz Green to the Active/Inactive roster from the practice squad.
