Staff Picks: Will Steelers overlook Wilson-less Seahawks? taken at Heinz Field (Steelers)

The Seahawks' All-Pro linebacker, Bobby Wagner.

Each week, our football staff at DK Pittsburgh Sports predicts the Steelers' game. Here are this week's picks for the game against the Seahawks, tomorrow, 8:25 p.m., at Heinz Field.

For a full preview, check my Kickoff.

Dale Lolley (2-3): The Steelers will force Geno Smith into mistakes that Russell Wilson just would not have made. And that will be the difference in this game. Seattle has been OK because Wilson covers up a lot of flaws. Without him, the Steelers will exploit that cheesy-soft defense and win this one. Steelers, 27-14

Chris Carter (2-3): This is Najee Harris’ game to thrive against the NFL’s 2nd worst run defense. No Wilson or Chris Carson will limit the Seahawks offense and give the Steelers defense plenty of chances for big plays. Old school Steelers win on defense and the ground game. Steelers, 27-13

Ramon Foster (2-3)The Seahawks without Russ don’t stand a chance against Pittsburgh, and it will be interesting to see who Ben makes his No. 1 target with JuJu going to IR. I'll take the home team. Steelers, 24-14

Tom Reed (2-3): Sometimes, it’s not who you play, but when you play them. The Steelers catch a massive break in facing the Seahawks without Wilson. Defensively, Seattle is hemorrhaging points and yards. Add it all up and it should get the Steelers a pathway to .500. Steelers, 30-14

Eddie Provident (3-2): The offensive line has momentum to build off of and Najee just keeps getting better. Seattle’s defense is on pace to be historically bad so I expect Ben and Co. to build off last week. Steelers, 31-17

Dejan Kovacevic (1-4): Sorry, I can't even manufacture some lone-wolf sentiment down here to be the only one choosing Seattle. I'm much more interested in seeing the Steelers' offense finally have a chance fo breathe a bit. Steelers, 34-9
