RICHMOND, Va. --I’ve watched hundreds of football games over the years, but never a game so fantastically dull, yet completely enthralling as the Heinz Field Mud Bowl back in 2007.
It was, without a doubt, among the ugliest punt-fests the NFL has produced over the last 50 years, but you didn’t want take your eyes off it, for fear you’d miss something, should anything finally happen. And to be fair, as indelible images go, it doesn’t get much more singular in the storied annals of NFL history than seeing Daniel Sepulveda's punt drive into the ground and just stick there!
