VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- The Penguins are through what figures to have been the toughest portion of their Western road trip -- they've played in Calgary and Edmonton, with games in Vancouver and Seattle to come -- and still are hovering in the middle of the pack in the Metropolitan Division.
As they move into the second quarter of the season, what do you make of their first 23 games? Disappointed they haven't won more? Pleased that they were able to remain afloat despite being without so many key players through the early weeks of the season? Figured they're doing pretty much what you expected, under the circumstances?
This is the place to discuss all of that, and everything else pertaining to the Penguins or the NHL. Post your questions and observations in the comments section and I will respond over the course of the day. (Perhaps a bit later into the day than usual, given the three-hour time difference between here and Pittsburgh.)
