MINNEAPOLIS -- The Steelers ruled out four players -- Joe Haden, Robert Spillane, B.J. Finney and Isaiah Buggs -- from playing Thursday night against the Vikings.
None of the four participated in the short week's only practice Tuesday.
Haden, the lone start of the group, will miss his fourth consecutive game with a sprained foot. His place at outside corner again will be taken by Ahkello Witherspoon.
Finney, who'd been subbing for injured starting left guard Kevin Dotson before reinjuring his back Sunday, will again be replaced by John Leglue, who'll make his first NFL start.
Spillane has a knee injury, Buggs an ankle injury.

In other moves, the Steelers terminated defensive back Linden Stephens and wide receiver Tyler Vaughns from the practice squad. In their places, they signed punter Drue Chrisman and long snapper Rex Sunahara to the practice squad.
