Leon Ayers III drives to the rim against UC Irvine Sunday in Akron

ALTOONA, Pa. -- Paced by Leon Ayers III 19 second half points, Duquesne rolled to a 76-54 victory over Cal Irvine Sunday afternoon in Akron. 

The game was played at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School where Dukes head coach Keith Dambrot coached early in his career and where he coached NBA legend Lebron James

Ayers III finished the game with 24 points for Duquesne who moved to 5-7 on the season. Tyson Acuff came off the bench to hook the Dukes up with 16 points while Kevin Easley added 12 points and 10 rebounds of his own. 

The Dukes out-rebounded Cal Irvine 40-26 with Tobi Okani and Austin Rothroff adding eight and seven boards apiece.

Duquesne was the first team to score more than 66 points against Cal Irvine this season and did so using their seventh different starting lineup of the season.
