ALTOONA, Pa. -- Fordham dropped a layup in with four seconds left in the game to upend Duquesne 72-71 in Atlantic 10 action Wednesday night.
The loss moved the Dukes to 6-8 on the season and 1-1 in the Atlantic 10 after squandering a double-digit lead in the contest. It also snapped a three-game win streak for Duquesne that dated back to December 19.
Guard Primo Spears led the Dukes on the scoreboard as he dropped a team-high 20 points with teammates Leon Ayers III and Jackie Johnson III adding 13 points apiece. Tre Williams notched 12 points and a career-high tying seven blocks on the night for Duquesne.
