ALTOONA, Pa. -- Robert Morris couldn't get out of the way of a Purdue Fort Wayne team that was on hot from the field as they shot 63.6 percent Friday night in the 86-62 victory.
The loss moves the Colonials to 1-8 in the Horizon League and 3-15 overall in a season where the word struggle is an understatement.
"We couldn't guard the ball," head coach Andrew Toole said. "They were able to drive us wherever they wanted. You give credit where it's due because Purdue Fort Wayne is very unselfish and moves the ball really, really well. I thought a lot of the three-point looks they had tonight were just simple catch and shoot. We were just so out of it on the offensive side that we let it affect us defensively."
One of the few consistent bright spots on the team this season has been Kahliel Spear who has now scored double digits in each of the past six games as he notched a team-high 16 points against the Mastodons.
Joining Spear in double figures were Michael Green III and Justin Winston who scored 14 and 11 points respectively.
