MOBILE, Ala. -- The Steelers added another outside candidate to their GM search this week, interviewing Chargers director of player personnel JoJo Wooden.

As reported here earlier this week, the Steelers also conducted interviews with Titans vice president of player personnel Ryan Cowden and Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds.

Wooden has been with the Chargers since 2013.

Those three interviews all took place this week here during Senior Bowl week.

One interview that has not yet been scheduled according to a source is one with former Bills GM and Steelers scout Doug Whaley, though the team is believed to be interested in speaking with Whaley about a return.

The Steelers are looking for a replacement for GM Kevin Colbert, who will step down from his duties following this year's draft in late April. Colbert, who has been with the team since 2000, has a contract that runs through the draft.

Colbert, 65, would like to stay on with the Steelers in an advisory capacity according to team president Art Rooney II.

Rooney also has interviewed two internal candidates, vice president of football & business administration Omar Khan and director of pro scouting coordinator Brandon Hunt.

Panthers vice president of football administration Samir Suleiman, formerly with the Steelers, also in a candidate for the position.
