Today's episode: Jeff Capel's Panthers gutted out an important win for Pitt Saturday. But what made it important wasn't its snapping of a 12-game losing streak to N.C. State or finally getting back-to-back ACC wins. What made it important was its engraining the idea into Pitt's future core players who they can be. John Hugley IV, Femi Odukale and Ithiel Horton all seem to be understanding what Capel's trying to do now, and that's the key to making this season an actual stepping stone for Pitt basketball instead of another lost year with no progress.
