Aaron Donald celebrates after making the Rams' final fourth-down stop.

Former Pitt and Penn Hills High School star Aaron Donald had every bit of hardware an NFL player could accumulate -- seven first-team All-Pros, three NFL Defensive Player of the Year awards. But he didn't have a Super Bowl ring ... until now.

Donald made back-to-back defensive plays on third and fourth down to turn the Bengals over on downs and help the Rams secure a 23-20 victory over Cincinnati at SoFi Stadium Sunday night, lifting Los Angeles to the Super Bowl victory.

Moments before, the Rams had taken a 23-20 lead on a 1-yard touchdown pass from Matthew Stafford to Cooper Kupp with just over one minute, 25 seconds remaining. Kupp was named MVP for his 8-catch, 92-yard game with two touchdowns.

The Bengals got the ball back and advanced to midfield, facing third-and-1. Donald beat a double team and yanked running back Samaje Perine down from behind for no gain on third down.

On fourth down, the Bengals went to the air. And Donald, who finished the game with four tackles, including two for a loss, and two sacks, did this:

"I’m so happy. I wanted this so bad. I dreamed this. I feel amazing. I feel great," Donald said after the game. "One last play to be world champs. Give it everything you’ve got."

Prior to the game, Donald, 30, told NBC's Rodney Harrison he could retire after this game if the Rams won. Donald was asked following the win if that's the case.

"I’m in the moment right now. I’m just going to live in the moment," Donald replied.

While Donald was celebrating, another former Pitt star, Tyler Boyd, a Clairton High School graduate, walks away disappointed. Boyd had five receptions for 48 yards in the game, but also had a big dropped pass in the fourth quarter that led to a Bengals punt.
