ALTOONA, Pa. -- Cleveland State proved to be too much to handle for Robert Morris as the Colonials lost, 83-67, Thursday night in the second round of the Horizon League Tournament.

The loss put an end to a disappointing 2021-22 season for Robert Morris, which finished with an 8-24 record overall and a 5-16 record in the Horizon League. Both records were an improvement over last season, but still leave much to be desired from a program that had won the 2020 Northeast Conference championship before the season was halted due to COVID-19.

Enoch Cheeks paced the Colonials with 21 points while going 8-8 from the charity stripe. Joining Cheeks in double digits was Kahliel Spear who notched 15 points of his own.

What proved to be the nail for Robert Morris on this night was its uncanny ability to turn the ball over, doing so 18 times, which led to 20 points for Cleveland State.
