Also included are Endy Rodriguez, Matt Fraizer, Mike Burrows and Carmen Mlodzinski, all of whom ranked on either Baseball America or FanGraphs’ lists of the top 10 prospects in the Pirates’ system.
Players are allowed to report starting Friday, and camp will officially start Sunday.
All of the players included above, with the exception of Taylor Davis, were taking part in the Pirates’ minor-league spring training at Pirate City. Davis played two games with the Pirates at the end of last season but was one of the first players cut this winter.
The club also announced its modified spring training schedule, where they will play 18 games in 19 days, starting on March 18 at LECOM Park against the Yankees.
