Molinari's answers on the Penguins taken at PPG Paints Arena (Live Qs at 5)

DKPS

Dave Molinari.

The Penguins are coming off their latest showdown with the Rangers, that 3-2 loss at PPG Paints Arena Tuesday night, and won't have much time to catch their breath, because they have games with two of the top teams in the Western Conference in their immediate future.

They will visit the Wild Thursday, then face the Avalanche in Denver Saturday.

Now that their roster is essentially set, aside from tweaks forced by injuries or recalls from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, do you think they have the makings of a legitimate Stanley Cup contender? Although a first-round matchup with New York seems likely, who would be your opponent of choice then? (No, it can't be the Coyotes or Kraken.)

This is the place to discuss those issues, and anything else pertaining to the Penguins or the NHL. Put your questions and observations in the Comments section, and I'll respond to them over the course of the day (although there might be some downtime during the afternoon, when I'll be traveling to Minnesota).
