BOSTON -- Tristan Jarry is considered "week-to-week" with an unspecified lower-body injury.
"The only information I have right now is that he'll be out with a lower-body injury," Mike Sullivan said Saturday. "His status right now would be week-to-week."
Jarry was injured during the Penguins' 6-3 victory against the Islanders Thursday night at PPG Paints Arena.
While the Penguins have not said when he was hurt, it might have happened when New York's Anders Lee slid into his right leg during the third period.
Jarry was able to finish the game.
Sullivan confirmed that Casey DeSmith will start against the Bruins today at 12:38 p.m. at TD Garden. Louis Domingue has been recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on an emergency basis to be DeSmith's backup.
