I know, not much of a surprise, right?
Suffice it to say Danny's been an instant hit with our subscribers with his handling of the weekly Drive to the Net analyses, to the point where the comments sections regularly included open pleas for more. And with each of those, I'd respond that we loved his work, too, pretty much telegraphing our own intent.
Well, here he is. He'll do remote Drive analyses off Games 1 and 2, both of which are here in Manhattan, and he'll begin actual on-location coverage this weekend, right through Games 3 and 4 at PPG Paints Arena.
Dave Molinari informed us this morning that he's moved on to our friends over at Pittsburgh Hockey Now. I wished him -- and will do so again here -- the best of health, happiness and luck. It's been a privilege and a point of pride having a Hockey Hall of Famer on our staff.
I'll be in comments, as ever, and I'll be kinda surprised if Taylor and Danny aren't, too, as they're both seriously stoked about the chance to build the beat together in their own collective image.
