The Steelers got another of their draft picks signed Friday, coming to terms on a four-year agreement with third-round pick DeMarvin Leal.
The former Texas A&M star had a team-high 8.5 sacks and 12.5 tackles for a loss in 2021 for the Aggies in 12 games.
Leal is expected to compete for a backup job of the Steelers defensive line in 2022. He is the highest-drafted defensive lineman by the Steelers since they selected Stephon Tuitt in 2014.
Leal's signing leaves only first-round pick Kenny Pickett and fourth-round selection Calvin Austin as the only remaining members of the Steelers' rookie class that remain unsigned.
The Steelers begin Phase 3 of their OTA sessions next Tuesday.
