Duquesne coach Keith Dambrot announced Monday that Joe Reece has enrolled at the university, making him the 10th member of the Dukes' 2022-23 recruiting class.

The 6-8 forward joins an already experienced NCAA Division recruiting class which includes guards Tevin Brewer (FIU), Tre Clark (VCU), and Dae Dae Grant (Miami, OH).

Reece played the first three years of his college career at Old Dominion before transferring to Bowling Green State University last fall. In his first three seasons at Old Dominion, Reece totaled 373 points, 240 rebounds and 27 blocks in 60 games. Last year at Bowling Green, Reece averaged 11.2 points and 5.1 rebounds in 19 minutes per game. He recorded double digit points 15 times, with three double-doubles, including one over the Dukes on Dec. 1 at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.

Dambrot assessed that Reece can make an instant impact on the roster.

"I expect Joe to be a real asset in the front court," Dambrot said. "He's a talented, athletic forward with a very solid all-around game who can score, rebound and defend. We got an up-close look at what Joe can do last year when Bowling Green was here. He has played a lot of meaningful minutes for good programs at the Division I level. I am looking for that experience to benefit us as we move forward."

Workouts for the most recent additions to the team began Monday morning.
