Looking for that perfect Father's Day gift for the Pittsburgh sports fan in your life?

Well, that holiday's today, and we've got the ideal last-second option.

Our new Downtown headquarters/shop  is closed Sunday after an exceptional Saturday in which we moved out original arts, crafts and photos from some of our city's most talented local creators, plus books, clothes and tons more merchandise related to the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates, as well as our own site.

Our particulars:

📍 Address: 224 Fifth Avenue
🗓 Days: Monday-Saturday
Hours: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

But remember, for those who don't live in the region, we also offer gift subscriptions and online merchandise. And the best thing about the gift subscriptions, in particular, is that there's no such thing as too late. The moment one's bought, it's available to give. (We always sell more of these on the actual holiday than in advance if that tells you anything!)

Seriously, though, come on down anytime, say hello, take care of dad and, if you're nice, we'll throw Bricks at you upon entering!

Also, thanks to everyone who's already stopped by this week and done their duty!

MORE COLLEGES

For anyone who missed it, Mark Clemente, our new Pitt beat writer, arrived with a bang, whipping up a bunch of original articles, including breaking some news in football recruiting. That's how this will go, through the Aug. 3 opening of the Panthers' training camp and all the way through the ACC basketball tournament.

Similarly, there was more Penn State content from Cory Giger, work began on building up Duquesne by Andrew Mundy and Robert Morris by Jarrod Prugar, and we expanded the college boxes on the home page to reflect all of it.

The feedback on this has been highly encouraging, but it's so early, and I'd much rather have everyone see what it's going to be as opposed to what's there now. It's the beginning.

Oh, and hey, please bookmark your preferred college page and share it with family and friends. We'll work hard to make sure they like what they find.

CAN'T AFFORD INCREASE?

Also for anyone who missed it, the price of an annual subscription's now at $59.99, and a monthly's now at $6.99. Seniors and students are still at $19.99, and military will always be completely free here. And anyone who can't afford the increase can just email me directly -- DK@DKPittsburghSports.com -- and let me know. No questions asked.

To date, we've heard from roughly 30 people who can't pay the increase, and we're respecting each and every one, just as we're grateful for everyone who's able to pay it. Believe me, it's why we're able to execute the expansion of all our coverage that's been laid out here in recent weeks.

BACK TO BUSINESS

• Our page views for the past week were 345,375, our lowest week of the year. Our most-read original piece was my column from the Steelers' minicamp, at 15,374. Broken down by team traffic, articles on the Pirates brought 23.8% of our readership, the Steelers 18.8%, the Penguins 11.9%, Pitt 1.8%, and Penn State 1.7%.

• Our podcast downloads for the past week weren't available. Had some insane spikes that weren't at all reflective of reality. (It'd be cool if they were!) Hope to have that in check by next week.
