The month of June represents the end of school, the start of summer, vacation season and turning on the grill. For PItt’s Pat Narduzzi, it's something totally different - official visits and commitments.
Continuing a practice that started a few years ago, Narduzzi hosted 12 prospects this weekend and, as of now, secured five commitments, which brings the total number of 2023 commitments to 13. Thus far, the only one of those five to confirm is 6-foot, 205-pound running back Montravious Lloyd. Lloyd, from powerhouse Lakewood High School in St. Petersburg, FL is the first running back in the 2023 class and is rated a three-star recruit by 247Sports.
Defensive backs coach Cory Sanders led Lloyd's recruitment. Lloyd chose the Panthers over offers from Arizona, Wake Forest, Florida State, UCF, and West Virginia, among others.
