CRANBERRY, Pa. -- The Penguins will have 25 players attend their rookie camp beginning on Thursday, Sept. 15 at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, 23 of whom will be among the 57 players invited to training camp beginning on Thursday, Sept. 22, it was announced on Tuesday by Ron Hextall.
A decent chunk of the players taking part in rookie camp also attended development camp in July. Those who didn't include the likes of Sam Poulin, Nathan Legare, Valtteri Puustinen and Filip Hallander, as well as recently signed college free agent defenseman Jack St. Ivany.
2022 draft picks Owen Pickering (first round) and Nolan Collins (sixth round), both defensemen, will be in attendance for both camps.
