Penguins announce giveaways, theme night schedule taken at PPG Paints Arena (Penguins)

The Penguins on Friday announced their promotional schedule for the 2022-23 season, featuring 11 giveaways and three theme nights.

The first of the three theme nights is Pittsburgh Night on Nov. 1 against the Bruins and will feature the local band The Clarks. A night celebrating the 2000s on Dec. 1 against the Golden Knights is the only decade-themed night this season. The last of the theme nights will be Superhero Night on March 9 against the Islanders.

Giveaways this season include magnetic schedules, a team calendar, a camouflage hat, a travel backpack, a wall banner featuring Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang, a team yearbook, a reusable snack bag, a puzzle, a reusable grocery bag, and a reversible bucket hat.

Other celebratory nights on the schedule include a First Responders Night on Oct. 20 against the Kings, the Military Appreciation Game on Nov. 5 against the Kraken, Nurses Night Out on Nov. 29 against the Hurricanes, Teachers Appreciation Night on Dec. 6 against the Blue Jackets, the Pride Game on Dec. 12 against the Stars, the Healthcare Heroes game on Jan. 24 against the Panthers, the Black Hockey History Game on Feb. 18 against the Devils, and Her Hockey Day on March 12 against the Rangers.
