Najee Harris says he's good to go for Week 2.

In an interview with Adam Schein on "Schein on Sports" on SiriusXM's Mad Dog Radio on Tuesday morning, the Steelers running back said he will be playing in Week 2, in the Steelers' home opener against New England.

Schein asked Harris the following: "So, you believe back at practice tomorrow, and on the field for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the home game, the home opener against the New England Patriots?"

Harris responded: "I'll be back at practice this week, and I will be playing this weekend."

Initially, Harris noted to Schein he didn't seem too concerned over the foot injury he sustained in Sunday's game in Cincinnati.

"Yeah, I'm good. Appreciate you for asking. Just got dinged up. Nothing too crazy. Thanks for asking, though," Harris said when first asked about the foot.

But, when Schein pressed, noted the concern amid the injury, and clarified that Harris didn't play in overtime on Sunday against the Bengals, Harris was then asked if he'd be ready for Week 2 against New England.

"Yeah, that's the plan. The plan is I should be ready to play. Should be back practicing. Today's our off day, so it's good that we got today off just to let it heal another day, and just ready to go this weekend."

That's when Schein responded with his clarification of Harris practicing on Wednesday, and being ready for Sunday.

Finally, Harris was asked about his worry level when his injury occurred, and Schein pondered if Harris was concerned if it was something severe.

Said Harris: "No, no. ... I just knew it was fine."

Mike Tomlin is due to talk to the media at noon today on the South Side, as the players have the day off.
