Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett was involved in a one-car accident Monday afternoon, the team confirmed.
The accident occurred after Garrett left the Browns' training facility. He crashed his 2021 Porsche after practice near Wadsworth, Ohio, at around 3 p.m., according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The vehicle went off the side of the road and flipped over before coming to a rest.
According to WKYC both Myles Garrett and his passenger were wearing their seatbelts and impairment is NOT suspected. Both were taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries. #Browns pic.twitter.com/OB9ryQ7k9L

The Browns confirmed Garrett suffered "non-life-threatening injuries" and was taken to a local hospital. A female passenger who was in the vehicle with Garrett was also taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Highway patrol said Garrett and the woman were both wearing seat belts, and there wasn't any suspicion of impairment by drugs or alcohol that led to or caused the accident, which is under investigation.
Earlier in the day, Garrett and a few other Browns players did not have the nicest things to say about Chukwuma Okorafor regarding the play from the Steelers' 29-17 loss where Anthony Walker Jr. tore his quadriceps. On the play, Okorafor blocked Walker hard to the ground, then jumped on his back to finish the play.
"That was a bull---- play," Garret said Monday. "He’s not moving. You don’t jump on a guy. That was a bull---- play."
When I asked Okorafor about the play after the game, he replied, "I'm just playing football, man."
Garrett was suspended for six games in 2019 for hitting Mason Rudolph in the head with his own helmet.
