CRANBERRY, Pa. -- In advance of their Saturday afternoon preseason game in Buffalo against the Sabres, the Penguins cut nine players from the NHL training camp roster, it was announced on Friday by Ron Hextall.
The following players have been assigned to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's training camp in the AHL:
Ty Glover (F), Lukas Svejkovsky (F), Brooklyn Kalmikov (F), Sam Houde (F), Jordan Frasca (F), Josh Maniscalco (D), Chris Ortiz (D), Jon Lizotte (D) and Mitch Reinke (D).
The Penguins also announced the roster for Saturday's preseason game:
