Duquesne pulled off a thrilling victory in the final second Monday night, ending a back-and-forth game in fantastic fashion on a floater that hit nothing but net.
North Florida took a one-point lead on a bucket with 13 seconds left. The Ospreys had a chance at a three-point play, but Jarius Hicklen missed the free throw.
Duquesne grabbed the rebound, and coach Keith Dambrot decided not to call timeout to set up a play. The Dukes had three timeouts remaining, and while many coaches like to call one there, Dambrot opted against it.
Boy, did it ever pay off.
The Dukes worked the ball up the court, and Tevin Brewer drove in for a floater from the right elbow. It hit nothing but net with 1 second left to give Duquesne an 83-82 win at UMPC Cooper Fieldhouse.

Brewer finished with just four points and made only 2 of 6 shots, but he buried the one that mattered most.
Dae Dae Grant finished with 26 points for the Dukes, while David Dixon had 14 and Tre Williams added 13.
Duquesne improved to 4-1 overall and 3-0 at home. The Dukes played without starter Joe Reece (ankle injury) and Kevin Easley Jr. (team discipline).
The game was tight throughout, with North Florida leading 43-42 at the half. Duquesne had a 70-64 lead with eight minutes to go, but North Florida charged back to set up the thrilling finish.
Duquesne's next game is Wednesday at home against Alabama State, which just lost at Pitt on Sunday, 73-54. Tipoff is 7 p.m. at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse.
