3. COME SEE US!
This is the big one for us, to be honest.
Dali's decorated 224 Fifth Avenue beautifully for the season, in addition to stocking it to the ceiling with the latest merchandise. Which is to say, if you visited even just a couple months ago, you won't recognize it anymore. We've responded to what people have been buying since our April opening, and we're rolling out an exponential amount of our best.
This comes up a lot, so I'm hoping to make it clear here: We DO NOT ship anything out of the shop, other than the DKPS-brand merch -- stuff with our logo on it -- that can always be found in our online shop. Everything else is in-person only.
Well worth the trip, too:
So yeah, come visit us! Make a Downtown day of it! The Market Square wooden shops are open and bustling, as is the PPG Ice Rink, and all else within our city's iconic holiday corridor. And if it ends up a little chilly, you're always free to hang with us between stops. (We have both heating and seating!)

The second (and final) phase of our sale of Building Bricks -- the ones almost covering an entire wall of the HQ/shop -- saw 4 more purchased in the past week. That's so very much appreciated. We look forward to having your Bricks here forever.
The only downside: We can handle only about 30 more, since we can't expand to another area within the space. So my guess is these will go fairly quickly because deadlines tend to have that effect on all of us.

INSIDE THE WORKS
• Please join Dali, me and everyone here in congratulating Taylor Haase on her seventh anniversary with our company yesterday! Yes, really, SEVEN YEARS!
• Happy to share right here that, beginning with the Tuesday ACC opener at Syracuse, we'll be fully back on board with Pitt men's basketball, live files, travel and all!
• There'll be a very, very meaningful change to how we cover games beginning in early 2023. Alex Stumpf and I met at the HQ/shop about this yesterday. Not one subscriber will be disappointed.
• All of our weekly features will be on their usual holiday hiatus the next two weeks, including the Point Park University Friday Insider. They'll all be back once the calendar flips.
• Also holiday-related, the Steelers-Raiders game the NFL stuck on Christmas Eve will be double-covered by Chris Halicke and me, but we'll be giving the entire rest of the staff off, so here's hoping you understand if the coverage doesn't come in the huge volume you've come to expect. The two of us will do everything we can, then try to enjoy the next day as much as possible.
• Travel on tap: Corey Crisan and Cory Giger will travel to the respective college football bowl games for Pitt and Penn State, next week in El Paso, Texas, and Pasadena, Calif., respectively. And they'll be there several days in advance to build up the coverage appropriately. ... Chris Halicke and I will double-cover Steelers-Ravens on New Year's Day in Baltimore. ... Danny Shirey and Taylor Haase will double-cover the Penguins in the Winter Classic, Jan. 2 in Boston. I'd go, too, except that I'll obviously be in Baltimore.

• Our page views for the week were 401,277, with our weekly goal being 500,000. Our most-read original piece was my Steelers-Ravens game column, at 8,900. Broken down by team traffic, articles on the Steelers brought 22.8% of our readership, the Penguins 21.5%, the Pirates 6.9%, Penn State 6.7%, and Pitt 1.2%.
• On the multimedia front, our podcast downloads for the past week were 110,609, with our weekly goal being 150,000, and our YouTube video views for the past week were 107,148, with our weekly goal being 150,000.
