Happy New Year, all!
We're back in town from an absolutely thrilling Sun Bowl. Pitt football is officially in offseason mode after finishing 9-4 following its victory over No. 18 UCLA in El Paso, Texas.
Pitt hoops, though, tipped off Friday with a win over No. 25 North Carolina, led by an an unbelievable day from Jamarius Burton. Two big ones coming up this week at The Pete, with No. 13 Virginia in town Tuesday night and Clemson in town Saturday afternoon.
We're also hot on the Steelers, of course. And the college football national championship game is set. TCU versus Georgia. Who's taking the title?
