RICHMOND, Va. -- Of all the Steelers' openers I've witnessed over the years, this one... a gritty, come-from-behind takedown of the powerhouse Oilers on their home field... always stands out as the most memorable. The arrival of coach Bill Cowher, immediately showing a willingness to take a calculated risk as well as the preparedness to make it pay off, quickly had fans feeling that the team's fortunes might be about to change, after nearly a decade of bad fortune.

Happy opening day, everyone!
