Each week, our football staff at DK Pittsburgh Sports predicts the Steelers' result, along with sharing a few related thoughts.
For a full preview of the matchup with the Titans, check out my breakdown.
Chris Halicke (4-3): This is a much better matchup for the Steelers. The Titans are decent against the run, but can be exploited. They're not good against the pass and are susceptible to chunk plays through the air. Yeah, Derrick Henry is a beast. Yeah, Will Levis looked really, really good in his debut. But, I like the Steelers' defensive front to bounce back, especially with Cam Heyward returning. Plus, as our friend Dale Lolley pointed out on social media, rookie quarterbacks are 1-15 against the Steelers in Pittsburgh, and 0-5 in prime time, over the past 20 years. I'm going with a bounce back performance. Steelers, 20-13
Corey Crisan (2-5): Levis is known to put mayonnaise in his coffee! And he eats bananas with the peel still on them! Need I say more? Start of a skid? Don’t count on it! Steelers 17-9
Matt Williamson (3-4): I have the Steelers winning this one in a game in which they absolutely should be able to pass the ball with some success. Maybe more importantly, the Steelers defense' is set up to create a lot of splash plays. I expect Levis to turn the ball over and get hit quite a bit behind one of the NFL's worst offensive lines. Steelers, 23-17
