The Steelers will host the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs at 1:02 p.m. on Christmas Day as part of the NFL's exclusive streaming package on Netflix.
The NFL will broadcast two games on Netflix on Christmas Day this year. Then, Netflix will pick up the streams of at least one holiday game each year through 2026 as part of a three-season deal with the league.
The other game to be hosted on Netflix on Christmas Day is Ravens at Texans. It is being rumored the Steelers could face the Ravens on the Saturday prior.
The Steelers and Chiefs last met in the 2022 AFC Wild-Card round, in which the Chiefs won 42-21 at Arrowhead Stadium. The last time the Steelers hosted the Chiefs was Sept. 16, 2018. The Chiefs won that game, 42-37.
The last Steelers victory over the Chiefs was a 19-13 win at Arrowhead Stadium on Oct. 15, 2017. The quarterbacks in that game were Ben Roethlisberger and Alex Smith. Le'Veon Bell had 32 carries for 179 yards and a touchdown and Antonio Brown caught eight passes for 155 yards and a touchdown in that game.
