Minor-league report: White walks it off in extras for Greensboro taken in Downtown (Pirates)

A look at Tuesday’s minor-league action within the Pirates' system ...

INDIANAPOLIS (24-32) lost to Columbus, 15-4The Clippers clobbered Indians pitching for 22 hits and benefitted from just one solo home run. Every Indians pitcher surrendered at least one run. Michael Plassmeyer (one inning pitched), Isaac Mattson (three IP) and Wily Peralta (one-third IP) surrendered four runs each.

Everyone in Columbus' lineup with the exception of Christian Cairo had at least two hits. Cairo had one. 

Jason Delay brought two home in the third inning with a single.

ALTOONA (16-36) lost at Richmond, 1-0. Vaun Brown's sacrifice fly in the fifth inning produced the only run off of Bubba Chandler. The run was unearned.

Chandler struck out five and allowed five hits in five innings. The Curve did not record a hit after the sixth inning. Carter Bins had two of the team's five hits.

GREENSBORO (30-21) beat Jersey Shore in 10 innings, 5-4Lonnie White, Jr's RBI single in the 10th was the game winner.

Nick Cimillo's eighth home run of the season tied the game in the eighth.

Josh Palacios had an RBI double in the fifth inning as he continues his minor-league rehab assignment. He previously played five games with Bradenton. Jack Brannigan and Hudson Head had RBI singles for the Grasshoppers.

BRADENTON (22-30) beat Clearwater, 6-4. Braylon Bishop hit a two-run home run to cap Bradenton's three-run fifth inning. 

Axiel Plaz hit an inside-the-park home run in the sixth inning to put Bradenton ahead 5-4:

Shalin Polanco hit a solo homer in the eighth. Esmerlyn Valdez went 3-for-3 and finished a home run shy of the cycle.
