RICHMOND, Va. -- With the Summer Olympics in Paris upon us, what better time to look back at the gold medal performance of Pittsburgh's John Woodruff, who (along with teammate Jesse Owens) stunned the host Germans and the entire sports world at the games in Berlin in 1936!
I also want to take an opportunity to say thanks to all the Lunatics who came out to the 10th anniversary celebration last Tuesday... I truly enjoyed chatting with every one of you! As I mentioned in a comment on one of the threads about the event, the work I do can be very solitary and isolated, and one can wonder if anyone is paying attention. To hear so many you talk about your affection for the comic strips absolutely means the world to me. What a community, what a family this is. I'm humbled to be a part of it.
