Eric Bowser, born and raised in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, covers the Pittsburgh Pirates as a freelance reporter for DK Pittsburgh Sports.

He currently works in Pittsburgh for a local financial institution. 

Prior to joining DK Pittsburgh Sports, he covered high school football for the Leader-Times in Kittanning for one season and has been a contributor to various online sports websites.

Eric resides in Murrysville with his wife, Kristin, and their two children, Perry and Jocelynn. His hobbies include collecting sports cards, cooking on his Blackstone griddle, and traveling to new cities to learn the local history and searching for BBQ.
