Josh Yohe

JOSH YOHE, born and raised in Peters Township, is the lead reporter at, covering the Pittsburgh Penguins and the National Hockey League.

Career: Upon graduating from Point Park University in 2002, Josh covered it all — high schools, colleges, pro — for the next five years as part of a three-man sports staff at The Daily News in McKeesport. In 2009, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, which owns the Daily News, assigned him to the Penguins beat, where he quickly became one of the city’s most trusted and popular hockey writers, as well as gaining respect around NHL circles. He was hired by this site in May 2015 and covers all three major-league teams, in addition to other assignments. He also appears as a broadcast commentator on WPXI-TV’s ‘The Final Word’ and on Pittsburgh’s iHeartMedia radio stations.

Personal: Josh lives in McMurray. The loves of his life are his children (Brad, Kayla, Colton and Connor). He loves pucks, has an intense interest in all sports, enjoys traveling everywhere but especially Canada and is, in general, a really swell guy.
