THE SETUP

It has been more than a year since Pitt basketball put together back-to-back wins over ACC opponents. But after the Panthers' win over Syracuse Tuesday the Petersen Events Center, the have a chance to achieve that feat against Boston College, a team they defeated back on Jan. 8. Both teams share the same conference record and rank among the worst scoring teams in the ACC. What put Pitt over the top last time was John Hugley IV exploding for a career high of 32 points as he dominated the paint and bullied the Eagles' forwards all game. But with the return of Ithiel Horton, Pitt could see a different offense as he provides a boost to the team's outside shooting.
