THE SETUP
Pitt opens its ACC Tournament against Miami. The Panthers earned the No. 12 seed while the Hurricanes earned the No. 13 seed. Pitt has won the first round of the ACC Tournament in each of Jeff Capel's first two seasons, but hasn't won multiple games in the ACC Tournament since its first year joining the conference in 2013-2014. Both Pitt and Miami had players received All-ACC honors Monday, with Justin Champagnie making First Team All-ACC and Isaiah Wong making Third Team All-ACC.
