THE SETUP
Pitt basketball snapped a four-game losing streak with its win over Florida State. It was the first ACC road win for the program in over a year, and with Saturday's game against N.C. State, the Panthers look to end another conference dry spell. If Pitt can defeat the Wolf Pack, it would've been the first Pitt pair of back-to-back conference wins under Jeff Capel since the team's three game win streak that culminated with a win over Duke on Jan. 19, 2021. Expect Capel to stick with his new starting lineup with Femi Odukale, Jamarius Burton, Ithiel Horton, Mouhammadou Gueye and John Hugley IV, especially after Horton's explosion for 25 points and seven made three-pointers in his first start of the season Wednesday.
